I is for Irrigation

Drive the length of the Highway 25, from beginning to end, and you'll easily understand how agriculture is--and has always been--a major industry of San San Benito County. Thank goodness for irrigation.

  2. Agriculture is pretty big on Maui too... lots of sugar cane and pineapple fields.

    1. Once upon a time the Daddy worked the sugar cane fields over there. I don't know about the pineapple.

  3. Beautiful photo on your Irrigation post!
I was born and raised in Southern California. Not as much agriculture in the area I lived, yet irrigation was a vital part of our existence there.
Thanks for showing me new places in California that I wasn't aware of!
