I've always liked the sign "San Juan Gardens" that graces the side gate at Vertigo Coffee in San Juan Bautista. I like to imagine a donkey playing under the sign.
Hollister, California is a real town that has been around since the 1870s. Unlike the fictional town created by a corporate clothing company, Hollister is no where near a beach. The town is about 45 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. Seagulls occasionally make their way over the mountains. Hopefully, they are able to find their way back.
I've dropped in on route to the upcoming A to Z Challenge. You have a visually appealing blog. I've enjoyed looking at the previous posts, with their intriguing photos and descriptive words to go along with them.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to your A to Z Challenge posts. Have fun with them.
