John Smith Road

Back road, country road. Same thing, isn't it?

This one is John Smith Road heading into Santa Ana Valley. I enjoy wandering this road, which starts at Fairview Road and goes past the landfill. Pedaling the bicycle is even better. When you get to the end of the road, you can either turn left to cruise through the small valley or turn right to head towards Quien Sabe Road, which takes you to Tres Pinos.

Today, I'm hanging out at Our World Tuesday. Come join me. Click here to visit other participants from around the globe.

    1. If you come in October, you can enjoy the olive festival, a corn maze, and the coolness of the Pinnacles National Park. I sound like the chamber of commerce. lol.

  5. The roads that connect us. I travel the back/country roads myself.

    A pastoral country scene!

  6. I would have great fun riding a bicycle down that hill, but I would be thinking, the whole time, that once I get down, I have to ride back up the hill. Am I a pessimist? No, I am just old and that hill would probably do me in. That said, it is a beautiful scene and would be perfect for "Good Fences" meme as well as OWT. As I peruse your site, I see that you are as good with your camera as you are with your words. So glad you stopped by ... nice to meet you :)

    1. Nice to meet you, Andrea. Going up the hill isn't so bad. I've pedaled up (and down) it on a beach cruiser. And I'm old and fat. :-)

Thanks for the kind words and the suggestions for other memes. I'll check them out.
