The Marentis House


The Marentis House in San Juan Bautista is designated a national historic building. A private residence, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The house was built in 1873 by the original owners, Pedro and Claudia Marentis. Their son, John Marentis, served as the city treasurer for 51 years. San Juan Bautista
