The Gabilan Range looks good in the car's side mirror, too, as the Husband and I drive west on Highway 156, towards Highway 101.
Enjoy the sunny, but slightly chilly, days. The weather guys forecast clear skies for at least a week.
Hollister, California is a real town that has been around since the 1870s. Unlike the fictional town created by a corporate clothing company, Hollister is no where near a beach. The town is about 45 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. Seagulls occasionally make their way over the mountains. Hopefully, they are able to find their way back.
Nice . . you've reminded me of driving towards Winslow, Arizona and seeing the San Francisco peaks in my rear-view mirror . . . Happy Nice days to you!

Very impressive photo using the side mirror. The Gabilan range is beautiful! Just wanted to thank you for the great suggestions in a comment you left in my Flying/Freedom post. (I'm struggling to keep up with posts and comments.) I haven't tried zip lining but it's on my to-do list. 🙂 Clearly, we have in common a dream to soar. I'll let you know if I ever realise that goal. Bravo to you for going for your dreams!
ReplyDeleteOh the places you'll go! Such fun traveling on the open road. Enjoy and stay safe! HUGS
