100 Things I Like: The Farmers Market

Today is Farmers Market Day in Downtown Hollister, from 3 to 7 p.m on Fifth Street.  Only three more market days left until next year.

Yes, I know this isn't the most flattering shot of the market. I just like the way the Granada Theater sign sticks up above the canopies.

  1. Our local farmer's market goes until the week before Thanksgiving. Autumn is my most favorite time to attend!! That is where I saw my first blue pumpkin and thought I'd died and gone to Heaven!!

  2. oceangirl, nope. We have a seasonal market. It's slowly growing and becoming popular so who knows, maybe down the road it may become full-time.

Wendy, thanks for dropping by. I'd be in heaven too with a blue pumpkin. I wonder how it got blue.
