Rock Faces in Tres Pinos

Double click on the photo for a larger view.

Leaning out the car window, I very quickly clicked a photo of the hillside at the northwest entry (or exit) to Tres Pinos. This outcrop of rocks fascinates me for no good reason. Look closely and you can see a bunch of figures and faces. Remember Medusa?

  1. hello Susieee, yes I can see faces, one looks like a fish, or it could be a mouse. This is fun, showing bits of your city daily. Why didn't I think of it:)

  2. HI! That's interesting, before I read your text I was going to say I saw a bunch of faces in those rocks.. Must be the way our minds are always trying to make of things.

  3. oceangirl, be sure to let me know if you start a blog about your city. :-)

L.D., that's one way of putting how our quirky imagination works. LOL!

  4. You are really making me miss my beautiful San Benito County. I can't believe we Abbe's are no longer represented there after our rich history in and around SJB. I really need to sit down and look at your entire album of your 231 day project. Keep it up, you inspire me. I think I might start a similar project on my blog at www.kernjournal.com

  5. Chuck, thank you. Actually, I have 2 projects going on—the overall 365-day project, which with this post was day 231, and the new 100 Things I like about Hollister. It's fun to do.
