Did you happen to see the elaborate model railroad at the San Benito County Fair this year? Or, last year? Or, maybe the year before? The San Juan Pacific Model Railroaders lay out their miniature world of fun in a large room. It's so worth a visit to the fair just to see the model trains at work. Toot! Toot!
Hollister, California is a real town that has been around since the 1870s. Unlike the fictional town created by a corporate clothing company, Hollister is no where near a beach. The town is about 45 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. Seagulls occasionally make their way over the mountains. Hopefully, they are able to find their way back.

The San Juan Pacific Model Railroad Club is no longer at the San Benito County Fairgrounds. Our lease was terminated as of August, 2015. We are now located in the San Benito County Historical Society Park just north of the fairgrounds.
