Hollister, California is a real town that has been around since the 1870s. Unlike the fictional town created by a corporate clothing company, Hollister is no where near a beach. The town is about 45 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. Seagulls occasionally make their way over the mountains. Hopefully, they are able to find their way back.

Shop Locally: Trés Jolie Vintage
Yes! Another shop will be opening in downtown Hollister soon. Birdies say that Trés Jolie Vintage, a boutique, will be opening on April 1. Check out the shop's Facebook page for the latest news. The store is located at 748 San Benito Street, a door or two down from the new butcher and market.
Do you know the Savvy Seconds Boutique in Morgan Hill? Trés Jolie Vintage is its sister store. Whoo-hoo!

Louisville has a big campainge called "Keep Louisville Wierd" to encourage people to shop the small locally owned shops. It makes for a cool bumper sticker.
ReplyDeleteAlphawoman, that's a pretty cool bumper sticker. A town has to feel secure about its image to go with something like that. :-)
