This sign in the Hollister Cleaners window cracks me up. I haven't had any need for dry cleaning service in a long while, but if the Husband's shirts ever get drenched in stinky sweat, I'll be sure to try this business.
Today, I'm linking up at the meme Signs, Signs. Come check out other interesting signs in the world by clicking here.
Ha! That is great...
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it. :-)
DeleteThat looks like 'signs of the past" - i suppose i meant, "retro" - now that you mention it, i don't remember the last time I used a dry cleaners for dry cleaning . . BUT, there is a place up the road that will repair whatever I've ripped up - specifically - the lining in a used coat that i love too much to part with . . . it's so cold out lately - it might be fun to try & sweat up a shirt . . giggle . .
ReplyDeletehahahah, Maggid. I've been walking a lot lately which translates to sweaty shirts. Fortunately, the washing machine can handle them.
DeleteThere aren't many dry cleaners in my city, and I guess those that are around need to be creative with their signs to attract attention. This guy seems oblivious of everything but him ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's probably a good thing for the guy to be oblivious of his sweaty smell. :-)
DeleteEffective way to attract attention!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. :-)
DeleteGreat sign. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteYep. I'm glad the Husband and I walked that way.
DeleteWell gee whiz, all those white-collar and tie professionals work so hard after all! I saw the ad ... Stress sweat is the worst of all. LOL
ReplyDeleteQuite true, Sallie, quite true. :-)
DeleteIt is a eye catcher. Plus it put a smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteGreat! My job is done. :-)
DeleteThis is a funny one! Reminds me of when I was a kid and we used to take my Dad's shirts to the cleaners every week.
ReplyDeleteI like think a good sign will send you off to memory land.
