It's a Flowing River

San Benito River, that is. Quite rapidly, too, for one so dry during the rest of year. I took this photo yesterday afternoon from the east side of Hospital Road.

  1. Years ago, my grandfather lost his chickens to that river. They ended up in San Juan and other points west.

  2. I'm assuming it's been raining there as much as it has been in San Mateo county. The reservoir certainly looks full.

Don't forget to get in touch with me if you head toward the San Francisco area. My cell phone is:
415-518-3540. We should have lunch or a drink or something. I'll be in Santa Cruz Saturday night to see my friend, Sony Holland, perform - she is a fabulous jazz singer.

  3. Charlie, I wonder if some of them chickens were the ancestors of the wild ones today.

Carmen, I've been loving the rain. Hope there's more on the way so we can really have full reservoirs...One of these days, we'll meet in person. That would be so fun. Enjoy the sweet jazz!
