Late yesterday (Friday) afternoon, around 5 p.m., looking east on Hillcrest Road at the mountains.
Hollister, California is a real town that has been around since the 1870s. Unlike the fictional town created by a corporate clothing company, Hollister is no where near a beach. The town is about 45 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. Seagulls occasionally make their way over the mountains. Hopefully, they are able to find their way back.

Nice - I'm constantly fascinated by clouds and their infinite configurations
ReplyDeleteL.D., a few years ago we did a road trip to New Mexico and I kept saying how the clouds there reminded me of how it was here in our area when I was a kid. After that, I kept seeing New Mexico clouds. They were probably here all the time. I just had to go away and come back to see them.
