I like going to county fairs. It's probably a bit different there - different favorite foods served and different breeds of livestock maybe - but in general they probably all have the same atmosphere. Fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat amazes me the most are the cakes. One year, a woman entered a cake that looked like a giant pin cushion. She totally deserved winning a best of fair ribbon.
DeleteMakes me think of this little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had roast beef...lol. Been years since I've been to a county fair, but loved them as a kid.

Now there's an adventure waiting for you. :-)
DeleteI do love a fair :D
ReplyDeleteDo you enter stuff? That's so fun. My quest is to receive a blue ribbon. I've entered my photos. If I get act together before this year, I may try something else.
DeleteI've never been to a county fair before but I've watched it from movies and it really looks fun!

Once, the Husband and I forked over a buck each to enter a tent to see the strange thing. It was a poster display of the Chupacabra. hahahaha
DeleteFairs are a lot of fun. I enjoy the animals, the music and the home baked goods! Our state fair in Wyoming is in August and takes place in Douglas, Wyoming. Cowboy country.
