
This umber colored brick building has been standing strong at the corner of Fifth and San Benito Streets for nearly 140 years. It is one of the oldest commercial buildings in downtown Hollister.

DeleteOh man I couldn't follow this blog fast enough! We lived in Gilroy for 4 years and my son was born in the hospital there in Hollister. I took 25 to Hollister many many times. Found you from the Challenge, looking forward to more!

Umber's a good artist word. You might even have minerals in the soil that would make a natural umber color.
