I hadn't been down Enterprise Road for awhile so I was surprised to see so much yellow. I don't think of orchards carpeted with yellow mustard in June. That's more of a Spring thing after a good rain.
Here's the photo before I played around with it in Photoshop.

great colour combination with the complementary colours. Our prairie mustard fields aren't in bloom yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marsha. I googled prairie mustard images and came across photos of cute prairie style dresses in yellow and mustard colors. Now, I want a mustard colored dress for summer.
DeleteOur fields are yellow as well, but the flowers are different. Isn't nature just wonderful. Beautiful shot, Su-sieee and I especially like the edits.

ReplyDeleteWe all live in a yellow submarine. . . .
DeleteOh I can't resist wildflowers flowing through the bush like this. We have similar with our everlastings in our mid west. Photoshop certainly has bumped up the colour beautifully. Have a lovely week. and thank you for stopping by my blog this week. It was lovely to meet you.
ReplyDeleteIt was the combination of using contrast, photo filter, an artist styling, and other things that I can't remember that changed the yellow. All magic. Seeing the orchard full of mustard was magical, too. :-)
DeleteWow! California IS golden!
