W is for Wire

Barbed wire is still a common sight inside Hollister city limits.

I'm been going through the alphabet this month as part of the A to Z Blogging Challenge. Only a few more days left to it.  Click here to check out some other A to Z Challenge participants.

    1. Most definitely. When I was a kid, I liked trying to scramble through the barbed wire. Uhm, actually I still do. It's just a harder thing to accomplish.

  2. Got a kick out of Wire. Yesterday my child came home, scratched up by barbed wire. It seems that it surrounds his school and he was helping some younger kids get a soccer ball that had gone over the fence. He said it was rusty and wasn't it good that he had just gotten his booster tetanus shot.

    1. He's a good kid! The younger ones probably admire him for his deed.

  3. Given it's a rural place, that makes sense!

  4. Hi Su-sieee .. barbed wire is a godsend and a curse - sort of both in a cussed sort of way!

    Cheers Hilary
