The Hawkins Estate

This Victorian home, located on South Street, behind R.O. Hardin School, was built in 1899. It's called the Hawkins Estate, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The original owner may have been T.S. Hawkins, one of the founders of Hollister, or one of his sons.

  1. Hi Susie. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I couldn't agree with you more about George Clooney improving with age. Like a fine wine that man is!! I love the pic of this beautiful Victorian!!! I live in an area with lots of these houses and I love to drive past them at night so I can peek in the windows to see how they're decorated. I do it while I'm driving, of course. Don't need any "peeping Tom" charges against me!! : )

  2. Wendy, I do the same thing. Taking a quick peek while driving, that is. :-)
